Lutek arrived on 8th October 2008 having been lovingly looked after and successfully shown by Ula Staszczyk. Ula came from Poland to show Lutek at Crufts 2009 where he was 1st in Special Junior Dog. He will be shown lightly during 2009. Lutek has an up to date clear eye certificate, has been hearing tested normal and his hip score is 3-6. He is available at stud to suitably tested bitches. Lutek's first litter to Wisnia, arrived on her 4th birthday,25th August 2009. There are 2 dogs and 2 bitches.

I first met Wisnia for the first time at Christmas 2005. Mariola Szczygiel, her breeder, invited me to her home in Zawierce, Poland, for a few days. It was so nice having time to get to know Wisnia, Mariola and her family. In July 2006 my son and I drove to Poland to collect our little girl. Although the journey was a long one Wisnia behaved perfectly in the car, the hotel and on the ferry. She bonded with me very quickly and soon became my shadow.
Wisnia has a hip score of 16-23 which is higher than I would have liked. However, she is as sound as a bell and has never been lame in her life. Although I have only had PONs for 4 years, I have been breeding Border Collies for the last 13 years and have hip scored every dog or bitch I have bred from. Nothing in life is certain and matings between two dogs that have very low hip scores can throw up the odd high score. For this reason when choosing whether to breed from a dog or bitch I don't just look at the scores of the dog or bitch but take into account the hip scores of the dogs behind them. The dogs behind both Wisnia and Lutek have good hips and as Lutek has a below average hip score I went ahead with the mating. Wisnia has a clear eye certificate and has been hearing tested normal.
